This role will involve undertaking technical assessments, preparing, reviewing and finalising concept drawings, preparing contract documents and specifications and conducting site inspections of construction works. The role comes with a great deal of project management responsibility and requires the successful candidate to work autonomously and to lead clients, projects and teams.

The successful candidate must have:

• A strong background in the design and documentation of roadworks and associated urban infrastructure
• Direct experience with land development/ subdivision projects
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years experience in a similar role
• Project management experience and proven record of working within project scope
• Sound negotiating skills, specifically in the area of contract negotiation
• Competence working with Microsoft Office, GIS and project management software
• A sound understanding and commitment to sustainability principles

It is highly desirable that candidates have:

• An interest in continuing technical and commercial education including post graduate studies
• Membership of a relevant and accredited professional association
• Previous consulting experience
• Previous experience managing clients and developing new business relationships
