GeoLINK has a Community Contributions Program which focuses on giving back to our local community.
Lennox Headland Rehabilitation Project

Building upon the annual World Environment Day Community Tree Planting event in Lennox Head, GeoLINK has partnered with Ballina Shire Council and EnviTE to provide environmental design services free of charge for the Lennox Headland Rehabilitation Project, as part of our Community Contributions Program.
GeoLINK has recently completed a Masterplan for the headland, which will form part of Council's development application for rehabilitation works at the site.
The Lennox Headland Rehabilitation Project involves rehabilitation and enhancement works, including vegetation restoration, walking steps, whale watching platforms and interpretive signage.

World Environment Day Community Tree Planting Day

The major event in our Community Contributions Program is the annual Tree Planting Day at Lennox Headland. The event was founded three years ago by the staff of GeoLINK to celebrate World Environment Day. That day was so successful, that GeoLINK decided to invite the wider business community of Lennox Head to join in, and the Community Tree Planting Day was born. The event is organised in partnership with Ballina Shire Council and with the assistance of the Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce. This year, volunteers planted over 400 trees and the event was supported by over 20 local businesses.

Climate Action Now

Climate Action Now is a national campaign that's redrawing the map of Australia, so that every person concerned about climate change can stand up and be counted, wherever they live. Together, they're starting a new movement to drive the message home to politicians at all levels of government that this is not a problem for somebody else to solve - it's the issue in their backyard.
